Scotland’s bark bigger than its bite? At least until independence: Daily Bullshit, June 26, 2016

Brexit

I comment on the Brexit vote outcome in a blog post.

I don’t know the details of Scotland’s bargain with the United Kingdom, but First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is probably wrong about Scotland’s government being able to negotiate with the European Union on its own^[1] and her suggestion that the government ought to be able to veto United Kingdom enabling legislation for ‘Brexit’^[2] strikes me as overreach. I think before any of this can happen, Scotland must secure its independence, which does appear feasible.^[3]
