So what might $10 million buy besides a recount? Daily Bullshit, November 30, 2016 https://cybernude.org/url/31921
$10 million? We’re going to need an audit.
I’m pretty sure I saw that Jill Stein’s new fundraising target for the recount was $9.6 million. And all this, if I understand correctly, for a procedure that will not uncover malfeasance of the sort primarily suspected.
I did read that Wisconsin received a $3.5 million payment.
In that Truthout article that maybe you, maybe someone else, pointed to, it’s pretty clear the money has to go to the recounts: http://greybeard95a.com/38j
I don’t know what happens to any that’s left over. Yes, it’s a huge amount of money. It’s also, it would seem, a very expensive thing to do. I just don’t buy that it will settle the questions that are being asked most loudly and I don’t buy that it’s a good use for the money.
I believe this effectively puts an end to the matter: http://thehill.com/homenews/news/308650-green-party-drops-pennsylvania-recount-case
Yes, the recount in the other two states might proceed, but as I understand it, results in all *three* states would need to have been overturned to alter the outcome.
