Donald Trump is an asshole, Gold Star edition: Daily Bullshit, October 19-20

There is a new blog post up, entitled, “On idealism.”

Gold Star families

“[O]ne story is now turning into a Pandora’s box of families with negative Trump stories,” lamented one GOP strategist with ties to the White House.[1]

Ridesharing

Ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft, according to a survey, you know, the kind of “research” that typically boasts a nine percent response rate,[2] may draw riders away from public transit and increase traffic overall.[3] Which, if the methodology were trustworthy, would mean that the City of San Francisco might not, after all, be so far off base in partially (although The City has offered no such nuance) blaming Uber and Lyft for its traffic problems.[4]

Obamacare

It’s getting really, really, really hard to take Republican efforts to allegedly repeal and replace Obamacare seriously at this point.
