PG&E may face criminal charges in Sonoma County wildfires

In case you missed it, there was a new blog entry based on the last issue of the Irregular Bullshit. It happens there’s an update to that post today (June 9) that’s primarily of legal interest but more fundamentally raises the question of a constitutional position that is effectively above the law in a system where, ideologically, no one is supposed to be above the law but, practically, the prospect of impeachment may fail to prevent violations of the law that presidential power may in fact facilitate.

James Comey

Last night I had a couple passengers, one of whom expressed an impatience with Robert Mueller’s investigation. She wanted to see results. I hastened to point out that there actually had been several indictments. As it happens, Philip Bump has the score.[1]
