Pittsburgh snow

They promised the response would be better to the storm that did indeed hit yesterday.[1] I’ve been out all day. I’d have to say no, it was not better. I continue to be astonished by the unplowed roads, the main streets around the hospitals and downtown where the accumulated snow had simply been left to go to slush. Now they’re saying it’ll be better for tomorrow.[2] We’ll see.

In general, the roads were passable. There was one hill, I think in Carrick, I failed to climb. Otherwise, I did do a little slipping and sliding but nothing that really alarmed me.
