It might be that I long ago heard some wiseass point out that “military intelligence” is an oxymoron, but I could not bring myself to care about the intelligence leak that has occupied so many pundits’ minds. The nearly always brilliant Ishaan Tharoor tells me as much as I care to know.[2] Count me with the Chechnyans who just simply think Vladimir Putin must be stopped.[3]

But then I see a story like the Wall Street Journal article and I see that the rich are being paid off.[4] That, more than any shortage of munitions[5] may be what actually determines the course of the war.
