Social Security came through today.

It will not be nearly so much as I would have received had I been able to hold out to age 70, let alone enough to quit driving for Uber. The abuse that exacerbates the wounds of a cruel and futile lifetime will continue.

It dulls the edge of financial impossibility that accompanied that intolerability.
