Ohio voters were pretty fucking clear that they wanted to protect abortion rights.[1] Republican politicians in the state have nonetheless been recalcitrant.[2]
And now the attorney general is getting in on the act. To me it sounds like more of a prayer than anything else. He’s hoping judges will cherrypick provisions of Ohio’s abortion ban that, he thinks, will somehow survive the constitutional amendment Ohio voters passed.[3]
I swear, the Republicans are as bad on abortion as Joe Biden is on Israel.
